The National Trust for the Cayman Islands is now a registered collection centre for Crayola's "ColorCycle" and Elmer’s "Glue Crew" recycling programmes!  The initiative begins from August 9, 2018 and will continue throughout the school year. Recycling receptacles have been set up at the Cayman Nature Store in Dart Family Park. This initiative is part of the Trust's continued commitment to helping Cayman reduce plastic waste and to encourage local efforts to make Cayman a cleaner, greener place to live.

To participate, bring in your used markers of any brand and empty, clean glue bottles or glue sticks to the Nature Store and the National Trust will recycle them for you for free. This programme has been created to help children understand the importance of their role in protecting the environment while diverting this waste stream from our already overburdened landfill.

All teachers and parents preparing for back-to-school are encouraged to participant in helping to keep Cayman clean.  If you are interested in taking part in this worthy environmental initiative, please visit us at the Nature Store located in Dart Park or email education@nationaltrust.org.ky.
