A native of Guyana, Anita moved to Grand Cayman in 1981. Since joining Radio Cayman in the early 1990's, she enjoys filling in as a weekend announcer. Her enjoyment and love for broadcasting has led her to complete an Associate Degree in Broadcasting Management and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies/Communication from the International College of the Cayman Islands. She also has a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. Anita enjoys spending time with her daughter Roshenara and grandson and their dog Molly.
A Canadian and American with Caribbean roots and long-time resident of the Cayman Islands brings a wealth of experience in Education, Sports, Media, Marketing and Business Development to Radio Cayman.Ray has a unique blend of education and experience from working with children, teachers, volunteer organizations, small and big businesses.The former Athletic Director of Kings Sports Centre, he was voted 2008 Cayman Islands Coach of the Year, and has helped gain the Cayman Islands international recognition in Sports.When not working, Ray is an avid gardener, sports enthusiast, devoted father and proud dog owner.
A native of Cayman Brac Paulette joined Radio Cayman in September 1980 as an announcer, after graduating from William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Paulette has also held the position of News Editor and is now Deputy Director. She has also hosted various programmes on Radio Cayman. Paulette left Radio Cayman in 1986 to work in the private sector, but returned to her true calling in life in 1989. Paulette is a member of the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens. She is married and has one son, Arin Taylor.
Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Kathy Miller has worked in the media/communications field for almost 8 years. Having studied Recording Arts and Post Production at the Centre for Digital Imaging and Sound in Vancouver, Kathy went on to work as an Assistant Engineer at Hipposonic Music Studios. Kathy began developing skills in marketing, public relations and event coordination as the Promotions Manager at the RDS Indoor Skatepark, also in Canada, which led her to Cayman, where she worked in the same capacity at the Black Pearl Skatepark and MCM Consultants. A freelance writer for over seven years, Kathy's work has appeared in magazines such as Concrete Powder, Skateboard Canada, SG Magazine, Discorder, and locally in the Caymanian Compass, Cayman Net News, Horizons and UCCI's Pipeline newsletter. Her dream is to heighten the means of communication through written, musical and visual mediums. Kathy says her favorite part about working at Radio Cayman is the recording and production aspect, and making people feel good through music!
