Volunteers Support NCVO through Supermarket Collections

Following on from a weekend of supermarket collections last Saturday, NCVO staff along with members of the Pink Ladies Volunteer Corps., Rotary Sunrise and Cayman Imperial Beauties will be out at supermarkets this Saturday 13th October to once again seek funding in the lead up to the NCVO’s Radio/Telethon.

Participating supermarkets include Kirk Market, Fosters Food Fair -IGA (Strand and Airport locations), Hurley’s Marketplace and AL Thompsons. The collected funds will be presented to the NCVO during the fundraising event at the Prospect Playhouse.

The public can donate while out and about or log on to www.caymangiftcertficates.com to donate directly online. People can listen to Radio Cayman or watch Cayman 27 and call the FLOW sponsored phone line 946-6136 from 7pm to 12 midnight on Saturday 20th October. They can also opt to mail cheques payable to “NCVO” to P.O. Box 1140, Grand Cayman KY1-1102.

Pledges of any amount and made by individuals will be entered to win more than 60 prizes valued at over CI$7,000.00.
