Banks announce Phase 2 of Automated Clearing House (ACH)
The second phase of the Cayman Islands Automated Clearing House (CIACH) network is a new Cheque Image Exchange product due to launch in late 2020 which aims to speed up the availability of funds between member banks. The first phase of the project set up domestic transfers between member banks which made funds available immediately between the six banks.
Fidelity Bank (Cayman) Limited, Cayman National Bank Ltd, CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank (Cayman) Limited, RBC Royal Bank (Cayman) Limited, Butterfield Bank and Scotiabank & Trust (Cayman) Limited. are all partnerships in the Cayman Islands Automated Clearing House network, which local Automated Clearing House (ACH) services in the Cayman Islands. Prism (Cayman) Limited was appointed to manage the Cayman Islands Automated Clearing House (CIACH) network on behalf of the banks.
