The Cayman Islands Marketing Professionals Association (CIMPA) is pleased to announce the appointment of their 2022 Board. The new Board of Directors was officially voted in at the Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on Friday 3rd December at the Cayman Compass Loft.

Natalie Porter has been named Chair for the 2022-23 term, having previously served as Vice-Chair (2020-21) and Head of Events (2018-19).

“I am excited to lead a talented and vibrant new Board to help us take CIMPA to the next level in 2022.” Ms. Porter said.

Kerry Glanfield and Lucy Taylor were successfully voted into new roles for 2022, Vice-Chair and Head of Training respectively. Daniele Fitzgerald was appointed as Head of Communications, Jay Mumtaz as Head of Training and Sacha Rodgers as Head of Events. Mahreen Nabi returns to the Board as Secretary for the 2022-23 term, having previously served as Head of Training in 2019 and 2020.

Continuing in their roles for a second year are Melanie Thomas as Treasurer, Alanna Warwick-Smith as Head of Community, and Nelmari Geldenhuys as Head of Creative.

The Association will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year, having been established in 2012 by founding members Marie Parker, Lesley Ann-Thompson, Katie O’Neill, and Monique Henry.

CIMPA continues to grow from strength to strength, delivering a full calendar of events, training, and networking opportunities for the Cayman Islands marketing community, including training seminars, quarterly networking socials, the CIMPA Awards, and an annual marketing conference featuring a well credentialed line-up of local and international speakers.

“None of this would be possible without the ongoing support of our CIMPA members, sponsors and supporters, so a huge thank you to everyone on behalf of CIMPA. We already have some exciting plans in place for this milestone year and I can’t wait to share more details. I encourage members of the local marketing community to reach out if they would like to get involved by becoming a CIMPA member or joining one of our committees.” Ms. Porter said.
