After two successful years of being offered part time, the LLM-Master of Laws and Postgraduate Diploma in International Finance open full-time.
Truman Bodden Law School LLM Course Leader Laura Panadès is receiving applications to the programme for the September 2019 intake.
Caymanian nationals, local residents and international students are welcome to apply. The deadline for applications is on 30th August 2019.
The LLM is offered in partnership with the University of Liverpool. Upon graduation, students will enjoy all the benefits of graduating from a leading UK Higher Education institution having gained their degree locally.
The programme focuses upon the study of specialist topic areas providing advanced knowledge of legal rules affecting International Finance, Anti-Money Laundering, Conflict of Laws and Public-Private Partnerships.
Two different modes of postgraduate study are offered in order to satisfy the needs of a diverse student community:
Firstly, prospective students can choose between programmes: an LLM including a Summer dissertation on an agreed, relevant topic of the student’s choice; or a Postgraduate Diploma, comprising taught courses only.
Secondly, the programmes are offered full and part-time, offering work-friendly schedules in central George Town. The part-time programme is offered over two years and is open to Caymanian nationals and local residents only. The full-time programme is offered over one year and is open to local and international applicants.
The deadline for applications is on 31st August 2019. All inquiries should be directed to the LLM Course Leader, Laura Panades at laura.panades@gov.ky.
