Condolence Books for Captain Kirkconnell
Condolence books are open for the late Captain Eldon Kirkconnell at locations across the three Islands as well as online.
These include the Government Administration Building and House of Parliament in Grand Cayman, District Administration Building in Cayman Brac and the District Office in Little Cayman. They will be available for members of the public to sign until tomorrow, Friday, 30 June.
Caymanians living overseas will also be able to pay their respects by signing a digital condolence book available at www.gov.ky/captainkirkconnell.
Captain Eldon Kirkconnell, who passed away on 8 June, served in the Legislative Assembly and the Executive Council of the Cayman Islands from 1962 to 1972, and was awarded the honour of OBE, Order of the British Empire, by Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
