Fatal Jet Ski Collision off Seven Mile Beach

Shortly before 12:30PM, 9 February, officers received a report of a fatal collision involving two jet skis in the water off Seven Mile Beach, in the vicinity of Piper Way. The rider of one of the jet skis was severely injured and was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital by emergency services, where she was pronounced dead. The rider of the other jet ski was uninjured.

The matter is currently under investigation.

The deceased woman was a 69-year-old visitor from the United States.
