Firearm Recovered in George Town Operation, Man Charged

On Thursday afternoon, 13 February, RCIPS officers conducted operations in the Scranton area of George Town, which led to the recovery of a 9mm semi-automatic pistol and nine rounds of ammunition. A man, age 26 of George Town, was arrested and charged with Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm and Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm (Ammunition).
He appeared in court Monday morning, 17 February, and was remanded into custody.
