Linford Pierson Highway - Widening
As part of the ongoing works to widen and extend Linford Pierson Highway – National Roads Authority will commence widening of the existing westbound section from Alamo Roundabout (near Downtown Reach Apartments) to Agnes Roundabout. This widening will create a third westbound lane which will provide additional capacity for traffic heading towards George Town, and provide much needed relief from congestion - particularly in the morning peak hour.
The works on this section will commence in early July and be completed by the end of August. Motorists are asked to proceed with caution when approaching the work zone and pay attention to work crews and road signs.
