Cayman IT business Kirk ISS was recognised as Security Partner of the Year at Aruba Networks’ recently concluded annual Atmosphere conference in Las Vegas. The Atmosphere conference showcases leading edge networking technologies and thought leaders from around the world in the field of wireless networking and security.
Aruba Networks (a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company), develops sophisticated hardware and software covering three major areas: Networking, Security and Location Based Services. Kirk ISS was recognised for their work in developing and deploying innovative Aruba Networks solutions with security at the forefront. According to Aruba Networks, awards go to “partners that have excelled in demonstrating a high calibre of service excellence across key sectors, increased market share, superior offering and growth in the market.”
For Kirk ISS Manager James Packer, this award is significant: “Being recognised as Security Partner of the Year at Atmosphere represents a significant milestone in our security practice. Our goal is to offer best-in-breed solutions for our customers, so being recognised at this prestigious conference serves as confirmation that we’re headed in the right direction.”
When asked about what it means for a Caymanian company to be recognised as a leader in the region, Mr. Packer offered the following: “We’re a small market, so it’s a significant achievement for a Caymanian company to be recognized as a leader in the region. I think the fact that we not only offer our solutions here in Cayman, but also now in places like BVI and Barbados shows that Cayman often punches above its weight in terms of technology in the region.”
