Just after 3:15AM on Sunday, 25 August, police was dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a report of robbery that was said to have taken place on School Road, George Town.
It was reported that a man was attacked by another man, who was traveling along School Road. During the assault a quantity of cash was stolen from the victim’s pockets. The suspect made off from the location on a bicycle. The attacker was said to have been tall, slim and have low cut hair.
The victim attended the hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and then discharged.
The police are seeking the assistance of anyone who may have been in the area and seen the incident take place. They are encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
