Minister Ebanks Announces Additional Financial Support in December

The Ministry of Investment, Innovation and Social Development (MIISD) today confirms that all recipients of Government’s permanent financial assistance shall receive an extra amount of $150 with their standard distribution through the Needs Assessment Unit this month for additional support during the holiday period.

The Hon. Minister for Social Development André Ebanks explained, “Our government recognises that there are many vulnerable persons in our community who are either permanently disabled or older persons, or who served honourably as veterans and seafarers. We therefore wish to provide added support to lessen their burdens, all within the spirit of the holiday season."
