The Ministry of Border Control and Labour on behalf of Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman (WORC) announces that Cabinet has approved the appointment of new members to the Immigration Boards; namely the Caymanian Status and Permanent Residency Board (CSPR), the Business Staffing Plan Board (BSP), and the Immigration Appeals Tribunal (IAT).

These new board appointments are for a 2-year period, effective immediately until 30 September 2025 and members will serve in accordance with the Immigration (Transition) Act (2022 Revision). The Minister for Border Control & Labour, Hon. Dwayne Seymour said “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated members of the Immigration Boards who have graciously agreed to serve a two-year term. Your commitment to upholding the Immigration Act is instrumental in ensuring the integrity of our immigration systems. As stewards of this crucial legislation, you play a pivotal role in shaping the socio-economic landscape of the Cayman Islands and I look forward to working collaboratively with you as we continue to make meaningful contributions to the effectiveness of our immigration systems."
