Commenting on the public consultation process, Hon. Kenneth Bryan, Minister of Ports stated, “these consultations are an opportunity for residents to share their opinions, ask questions and provide feedback on the cargo port development project. The input received will play a crucial role in the decision-making process, ensuring that the chosen option meets the needs and expectations of the community.”
Consequently, the Minister is urging the public and all interested parties to attend and participate in these sessions. “We often hear feedback that the public wants more information from government and yet when public meetings are held attendance is poor. I am appealing to the public to make the effort to attend as your feedback is vital in helping us make informed decisions that reflect the community's vision for the future of our cargo port and the economic development of the Cayman Islands.”
