Just after 8AM on 2 September police responded to a report of a burglary incident that took place at a commercial property located on West Bay Road, George Town. It is believed that the incident took place in the early hours of the morning, but was only discovered to have happened when the staff reported to work just before 8AM.
It was reported that a safe was stolen from the location which is believed to have contained a quantity of cash. Other aspects of the office space were also disturbed by the burglar during the incident.
