RCIPS Requests Public Assistance to Locate Wanted Man

UPDATE:

Wanted man, Joseph Vandell Hurlston has been located and taken into custody today, Sunday 26 April.

The RCIPS would like to thank the press and members of the public for their assistance in this matter.

 

On Saturday, 25 April, the RCIPS is requesting public assistance in locating Joseph Vandell Hurlston, age 37 of George Town, who is currently on bail in relation to a serious assault. Pictures of Mr. Hurlston are attached.

Mr. Hurlston is approximately 5’ 9” tall, weighs about 145lbs, and is of light brown complexion.  He is believed to have long dreadlocks.

Hurlston has been on Conditional Release from Her Majesty’s Prison Northward since November 2019, however his Conditional Release has recently been revoked. He is believed to be hiding out in the West Bay area.

Anyone who sees Joseph Hurlston should not approach him but should call 9-1-1, and provide the location and time of the sighting.
