Shortly after 10:00PM on Saturday, 30 November, officers on patrol in George Town attended a restaurant on School Road. While at the location officers smelt a strong scent of ganja nearby. As a result a search was conducted with the assistance of police K-9 Shadow. The dog led officers to a vehicle at the location, indicating on the front fender. Officers conducted a search and recovered more than 100 small packages of suspected ganja from under the right front fender of the vehicle.
The matter is currently under investigation.
