The Cayman Islands Marketing Professionals Association is delighted to announce the launch of the 2021 Marketing Awards, with submissions now open.
The COVID pandemic impacted many people in many ways – for businesses, the ones that acted swiftly and altered their business model accordingly were able to still thrive in a troubling world – many businesses saw marketing and communication professionals see them through.
The CIMPA awards celebrate and recognise creative efforts from the agencies, organisations and individuals that make up our community of marketing professionals in the Cayman Islands. The 2021 Awards comprise of ten categories: Campaign of the Year, Brand of the Year, Website or App of the Year, Agency of the Year, Community Impact of the Year, Video of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Marketer of the Year, Creative Professional of the Year and new this year – PIVOT 2.0 Covid Campaign of the Year.
“We’re thrilled to bring back the CIMPA Awards and recognize the best that Cayman’s marketing community has to offer, including introducing a new category that highlights outstanding efforts by marketing teams during the 2020 pandemic. The 2020 Awards held in October last year were a wonderful homage to the creativity and drive in Cayman and we can’t wait to see what makes the shortlist this year.” – Julian Foster, CIMPA Chair.
Local marketing professionals, newcomers and veterans alike, are encouraged to submit their greatest marketing initiatives from the year that was 2020. The judging matrix for each category includes the organisation's contribution to the community and an individual's character. A highly experienced panel of international, creative experts, who are leaders in their respective fields, will judge submissions.
CIMPA members can submit one entry per category for free, there is a nominal fee ($125) per entry for non-members. Applications will be accepted until 17 March 2021, and full details can be found at www.cimpa.ky/awards.
Winners will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony in June 2021 – date and location to be confirmed.
