UK Ministry of Justice Hosts Overseas Territories Conference in Cayman

The Minister for Health, Wellness & Home Affairs Hon. Sabrina Turner and Acting Director of Prisons Daniel Greaves, alongside the United Kingdom Ministry of Justice, welcomed delegates from Overseas Territories (OTs) Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Falkland Islands, Montserrat, Sovereign Base Areas and St. Helena for the 2023 Overseas Territories Prisons Superintendents Conference.
The Cayman Islands were selected to host the conference for the first time based on a number of current milestones being met by the jurisdiction. These milestones include effective cross-agency collaborations, the ongoing work in rehabilitation reform, and the planned construction of new prison facilities.
