A&E walk-in entrance to relocate during Discover Day weekend

The Health Services Authority (HSA) Accident & Emergency (A&E) walk-in entrance will be temporarily relocated from Saturday 14th May through Monday 16th May 2022 due to ongoing facility updates to improve the patient experience.  

 

Patients requiring emergency care may access A&E using the entrance to the left of the ambulance bay.  Signage and security will be in place to direct patients.  

 

A&E will remain open 24 hours a day without interruption to ensure the continuity of patient care. 

 

Reasons to visit Accident & Emergency: 

Loss of consciousness  

Persistent, severe chest pain 

Breathing difficulties 

Severe bleeding  

Severe allergic reactions 

Severe burns or scalds 

Acute confused state and fits that are not stopping 

 

Urgent Care Clinic is available for non-emergencies, such as flu, earache, mild sprains, cuts and colds. The clinic is located off the Cayman Islands Hospital atrium. 

Saturday - 8:30am – 1:00pm   

Closed Sunday & Monday (Discovery Day)
