Brac woman arrested on suspicion of assault

A 29 year old Cayman Brac woman is under arrest – suspected of assault causing grievous bodily harm. Police believe the woman stabbed a man she knew two times, which resulted in a struggle and hand in juries to the man. The victim was taken to Faith Memorial Hospital for treatment. Police and emergency services were called out around 5 in the morning Tuesday to a report of stabbing on Legend Drive in Cayman Brac.

At last check, the suspect was in custody pending further investigation.
