In an effort to keep members informed as further COVID-19 developments unfold, The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce has launched an online platform where their latest COVID-19 information will be shared. To better serve the business community, the Chamber will be providing relevant and accurate updates on this platform during the pandemic.
The website, which launched on Friday, 27 March, will not only serve as a trusted source of information, but will also provide guidance, support, and advocacy to assist local businesses during these challenging times.
Mr Wil Pineau, Chief Executive Officer of the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce, initiated the site development to support member businesses during the harsh economic ramifications they are currently facing.
“The Chamber is committed to assisting member businesses in any way possible.” Mr Pineau said. “The addition of our dedicated COVID-19 website will ensure that members have uninterrupted access to the guidance, assistance, and information they require to support the continuity of their business during this crisis.”
The Chamber will be using this platform to share the latest updates and press briefings from Government, member news, as well as upcoming webinars which will cover topics that will be of assistance to members and the wider business community. The first webinar in this series is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 1 April.
Members are encouraged to share their business updates with The Chamber for publication on this dedicated website. Contact communications@caymanchamber.ky to share any information regarding revised operating hours and business continuity plans for your business.
