The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 407 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Thursday, 6 May 2021. All were negative.

The total number of COVID-19 vaccines administered to date is 70,068.

So far, 37,470 (58% of the estimated population of 65,000) have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, with 50% having completed the two-dose course.

With the PACT Government vaccine event coming up tomorrow Public Health is gearing up to greet many in the community and hopeful to deliver many vaccines. The event scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, 8 May at 10am will be held at the vaccination clinic at the Owen Roberts International Airport.
