The Department of Education Services (DES) invites the public to attend the remaining adjudications for the 2020/2021 staging of the National Children's Festival of the Arts (NCFA).

The adjudications, which commenced with vocal performances on Monday (1 March), will conclude at the Harquail Theatre this Friday (5 March).

Throughout the week, adjudicators will assess entries from 27 public and private schools and homeschoolers in categories including instrumentals (solo, bands and ensembles), speech, drama and dance.

DES Acting Director Mrs. Tammy Hopkins commented on the performances on day one of the adjudications.

"On Monday, I was privileged to witness several impressive vocal performances from school choirs and young soloists. The Cayman Islands are filled with talented children and young people, and I am pleased that throughout the years, we (DES) have been able to provide them with this avenue to unearth their talents in the performing arts."

Mrs. Hopkins also urged members of the public to show their support for these talented young people by attending the remaining adjudications or final concerts per the below schedule:
