Fire at Landfill Extinguished

A small fire at the George Town landfill this morning has been brought under control by teams from Fire Service and Department of Environmental Health. Crews are working to excavate and damp down the site. Their aim is to fully extinguish the fire and minimize risk of reignition. More information will be shared as available.
