George Town Man Arrested for Assault GBH

Just before midnight, Wednesday 30 January, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a residence on Watler’s Road, George Town, where it was reported that two (2) men who are known to each other had an altercation, resulting in one of the men receiving a knife wound.

The wounded man was transported to the hospital where is undergoing treatment. He is believed to have sustained serious injury.

A 25-year-old-man of George Town was arrested on suspicion of assault GBH and is currently in custody pending further investigation.

This incident is being investigated by the police.
