GIS: Government lines and services down
3PM Update -
Travel Cayman phones and emails are now fully back online following an outage early this afternoon (Sunday 10 July 2022).
The National Weather Service website is working again, and phone service has been restored for the Royal Cayman Islands Police.
Work continues on other services.
12PM Update Government Information Services says a range of Government services are currently down including the phone lines, websites, and e-services operated by multiple agencies. That includes the phone lines for all Royal Cayman Islands Police stations. Anyone in an emergency situation should contact 911.
No word on the cause of the outage. We’re told the Computer Services Department is working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Travel Cayman clients should contact 525-1904 or 526-2792, or e-mail travelcayman2022@gmail.com.
