Covid 19

Public Health confirms that multiple students have tested positive for COVID-19 in the following classes:

Prospect Primary Year 5 (Laylor)

Prospect Primary Year 3 (Oxilly)

John Gray HS Year 9 WJ

Triple C  Year 9 - 1

ALL students, teachers and household members in the classrooms above MUST remain in [home] quarantine for the 14 days even if your test results are negative. This is a mandatory quarantine directed by the Public Health Department. Classes with multiple positive COVID-19 cases will result in all students, teachers in that specific class & their households requiring to quarantine.

These households will be contacted by Public Health at a later date with more information regarding exit testing (if required).

While in quarantine, if persons in quarantine develop flu symptoms, please contact your healthcare provider or the Flu Hotline. 1-800-534-8600, 345-947-3077 or flu@hsa.ky.

Quarantine letters from Public Health will be provided to all families in mandatory quarantine.

Only persons residing in the household of the primary contact (classroom children & teacher) are required to quarantine. Persons who are secondary contacts (ie: a friend of a primary contact) are not required to quarantine.

If you have additional questions, please contact the Flu Hotline: 1-800-534-8600, 345-947-3077 or flu@hsa.ky.
