On Tuesday, 21 February HRH The Countess of Wessex joined 100 Women in Finance ("100WF") members and special guests at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman for an intimate conversation around empowerment in the workplace and beyond.
100WF CEO, Amanda Pullinger, and 100WF Board Member and Partner at the Maples Group, Christina Bodden discussed their global experiences in empowering women in finance as well as their observations about how we can empower women outside of the finance industry, particularly in the developing world where women often face additional hurdles and cultural challenges.
At the end of the session, HRH The Countess of Wessex shared her own insights from her global work that focuses on championing gender balance and diversity as well as women, peace and security.
Empowering women is part of the core mission of 100WF. Over the past 20 years, 100WF has led the way in developing initiatives that have helped women in their professional careers and inspired the next generation of female leaders through its Investing in the Next Generation and GirlForce100 initiatives.
