The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) has announced that through its Educational Scholarship Fund (ESF), $240,000 in scholarships have been awarded to nine (9) Caymanians for 2024.
This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the ESF, and since its inception, has raised approximately $5 million through events and generous contributions from members and industry partners. The fund has now supported seventy-four (74) young Caymanians in pursuing higher education, including the 2024 scholarship recipients.
“We are excited to support these ambitious students in their educational pursuits” said Lesley Thompson, Chair of the ESF Committee and former Chair of IMAC. “The ESF Committee reviewed many exceptional applications and selected 9 students, with diverse career goals, who are excited to learn and grow, and return to Cayman to work.”
