Investigation into Alleged Staff Misconduct

Further to a report about the misconduct of a newly recruited staff member, the Ministry for Education and the Department of Education Services have referred the matter to the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) for investigation in line with the protocol for addressing child protection allegations involving staff.

The MASH comprises the Department of Children and Family Services and the Family Support Unit of the Royal Cayman Islands Police (RCIPS). The member of staff implicated has also been removed from the school pending the outcome of the investigation.
