Man Arrested for Imitation Firearm Following Incident at West Bay Road Bar

Shortly after 7:30PM yesterday, 20 March, officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a bar in Trafalgar Place, on West Bay Road.

Officers attended the location and approached a man, who then attempted to discard an object. The object, which appeared to be a flare gun, was recovered by officers. Officers detained the man and conducted a search of his person, recovering a quantity of ganja. The man, age 31 of West Bay, was arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm and suspicion of possession and consumption of ganja.

He remains in custody as investigations continue.
