Update on Migrants Who Left Cayman Brac, Arrived in East End
Grand Cayman, 29 December 2021 – Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control Service (CBC) is updating the public that the vessel with 7 migrants which left Cayman Brac last night, was located this evening by the Cayman Islands Coast Guard offshore in East End. The Cayman Islands Coast Guard has declared their vessel to be unsafe and as such, they are currently being processed in keeping with the COVID-19 protocols and will placed in mandatory quarantine in a Government approved facility.

Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control Service (CBC) confirms that a vessel with 6 migrants arrived in Cayman Brac on 25th December and were managed in accordance with COVID-19 processing protocols and were transported to Grand Cayman this afternoon to be placed in mandatory quarantine in a Government approved facility.
Another 7 migrants arrived in the waters off Cayman Brac on the 28th December but decided to continue on their journey.
