The Ministry of Education’s local scholarships application process is now open and eligible Caymanian students and adults are invited to apply until the deadline of 30 April 2019. Funding is available for Year 12 students to pursue studies in A-level and BTEC Level 3 Extended for two years, and Year13 students to pursue studies in Advanced Placement (AP), CAPE and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses. Government will also award scholarships for certificate, associate, bachelor, master and law degree programmes at ICCI, UCCI, UWI Open Campus, St. Matthew’s University and the Cayman Islands Law School.

As the Minister for Education, I encourage Caymanians, who meet the scholarship criteria, to apply because I believe that there is no better way to invest in these Islands, than investing in the education of our people.” remarked Hon. Juliana O’Connor-Connolly.
“The Scholarships Secretariat is here to assist applicants, if necessary, in navigating the relevant online application, which now also includes a means test.” said Dr. Shari Smith, Acting Manager of the Scholarships Secretariat.
