Every year Cayman Heart Fund (CHF) honor selected number of Heart Heroes at the Heart Heroes Luncheon. CHF is searching for new honorees for our 2020 Heart Heroes Brunch. Help us today by nominating your favorite heart hero by 5pm, December 31st, 2019.
Suzy Soto, CHF Founder, said, The Cayman Heart Fund (CHF), strives to bring the community awareness about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. We started doing the Heart Heroes luncheon, in 2016, celebrating those who have gone through cardiac problems and their journey. I feel that it is important to share your journey with others as it is a frightening time for those going through cardiac problems. It is your heart, it is your pump, that keeps you going or not. We also have the photos on the Heart Heroes wall at the George Town Hospital (HSA), honoring those who have taken the journey. So, think of someone to nominate to join the other Heart Heroes.
Mrs. Soto, also said, all CHF’s endeavors are to Educate to prevent heart disease, stroke and risk factors, stress prevention, nutrition and fitness education, provide complimentary health screenings for our residents, and make available programs to lower obesity and stress appropriate exercise.
The 2020 Fund Raiser will be Heart Heroes Brunch on held on Sunday, February 16th, 2020 at the Ristorante Pappagallo from 11:30am – 3pm. The theme of it is Music from the Ages, costumes welcomed. Seating is limited so get your tickets early!
