A 33-year-old man of Bodden Town was arrested on Friday, 28 February, concerning a robbery incident that took place at a business premises located on Sound Way in George Town.
It was reported that three men attended the location armed with machetes and robbed and assaulted a member of the public who was present at the time. The men made off in a silver-coloured vehicle with a quantity of cash.
The man has since been formally charged by the police with Robbery. He appeared in court today, Monday 3 March, where he was remanded in custody to return on 21 March.
