Police Appeal for Victims of Thefts from Vehicles to Come Forward

A man, age 44 of George Town, was arrested early Saturday morning, 30 January, on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle. He has since been formally charged with one count of Theft and is expected to appear in court today, 1 February.

At the time of his arrest, the man was in possession of a sum of foreign currency and jewellery.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have had items stolen from their vehicles overnight between 29 and 30 January to contact the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
