At about 8:45PM on Saturday, 29 April, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a restaurant on Shamrock Road in the vicinity of Bimini Drive. A masked man entered the restaurant carrying a firearm and demanded cash from the register. He then fled the location on foot with a quantity of cash. No shots were fired during the incident and no one was injured.
The suspect is described as being of dark complexion and medium build. He was dressed in all black with a long-sleeved hooded top and a mask.
The matter is currently under investigation, anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
