Just after 8:40AM, Wednesday 2 February, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to Kentsville Drive in George Town where it was reported that two men were fighting on a work site and one of the men was struck in the head with an object by the other, and badly injured.
The injured man was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he was treated for serious but non-life-threatening-injuries and later discharged. A 54-year-old-man of George Town was arrested on suspicion of Assault Grievous Bodily Harm and later bailed pending further investigation.
