Just before 6AM Saturday 16 March, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to the hospital where it was reported that a man attended in a private vehicle after sustaining multiple lacerations. He is currently in the hospital being treated for what is believed to be serious and life threatening injuries.
Investigation suggests that the man was involved in an incident that took place in Linwood Street. He fled the location on foot and sought assistance from a passing vehicle on Shedden Road, who transported him to the hospital immediately.
The incident is being investigated by the police and detectives are seeking the assistance of the public. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
