Police Investigate Wounding Incident on Seven Mile Public Beach

Shortly after 12:00PM on Wednesday, 19 April, officers responded to a report that a man had been brought to hospital with serious stab wounds to his face, arms and back.

Officers responded and conducted inquiries, which revealed that the man had been stabbed during a dispute with another man at the Seven Mile Public Beach earlier the same day.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
