Police Operation in the Breakers Area, Bodden Town

Just before 6:45 AM Monday 18 February, police had cause to launch an operation in the breakers area.
Officers attended the location and saw a vessel in the water. Three men were also located in area acting suspiciously. The men were subsequently arrested on suspicion of illegal landing.
One black boat was recovered from the waters in breakers area and the matter is still under investigation.
Officers are asking that members of the public stay out of the crime scene area if possible as there are several specialist units including K-9 and the Air Operations Unit, that may be affected by a large crowd.
