The Public Health Department has announced immediate changes, as of Tuesday 12th October 2021, in the protocol required isolation periods of known COVID-19 positive cases.
“Public Health’s isolation protocols may change as we progress through various stages of community spread,” confirmed Medical Officer of Health, Dr Samuel William–Rodriguez. “We are continuously evaluating the situation and will adapt as needed in an effort to keep our community safe from the spread of COVID-19.”
If you are a positive COVID-19 case, or in the household of a positive, and believe you qualify for the reduced isolation period, please contact the Flu Hotline.
