Just before 12:00PM 5 February, an RCIPS service vehicle was involved in a two-vehicle collision with a Chevrolet Aveo at the roundabout at Anthony Drive and Smith Road. Both vehicles received minor damage, and no injuries were reported.

Traffic officers responded to the collision and spoke with the drivers of both vehicles. It was discovered that the Chevrolet was not insured, and the driver did not possess a valid driver’s license. The driver, a woman age 45 of George Town, was arrested on suspicion of driving without being qualified and driving without insurance. She was later granted bail.

The matter is currently under investigation.
