On Wednesday, 12 February, officers from the West Bay Station, with support from the RCIPS Community Policing Unit, continued their disruption patrol strategy in targeted areas of the West Bay community, including Apple Blossom, off Captains Joe and Osbert Road.

Officers had cause to visit a residential address in this area, where an extensive search of the property revealed two motorbikes and a jet ski hidden at the rear of the property.

Police enquiries established that one of the motorbikes, a black Honda, had been stolen the previous night, and the jet ski had been stolen from a tour company. The Honda motorbike and the jet ski have since been returned to their respective owners.

West Bay Station officers thank the community for their continued support with their disruption patrols, and encourage any persons with information about suspicious or criminal activity occurring in their neighborhood should contact either 911 or the West Bay Station on, 949-3999.
