There have been a number of alleged breaches of isolation protocols involving residents in Cayman Brac and Grand Cayman.

The Travel Cayman team along with Public Health and the RCIPS are working diligently to investigate each breach and ensure that persons in isolation understand and adhere to isolation protocols.

Members of the public required to isolate are reminded that they should not have any visitors or leave their place of isolation until they receive notification from Public Health. In doing so they are jeopardizing their health as well as the health and safety of others.

“With an increase in the numbers of persons testing positive for COVID-19, we must remain vigilant and continue our efforts in protecting ourselves and our community. If you suspect someone is not adhering to isolation requirements, please contact our team at 943-SAFE (7233) or in Cayman Brac 526-8557,” stated Casandra Morris, Director of Travel Cayman.

The public is reminded that anyone found to be in breach of the isolation provisions will be warned for intended prosecution or ticketed and is liable to a fine or imprisonment.
