Two persons arrested on multiple drug charges in West Bay operation,

On 10 September, officers from the West Bay Police Station along with supporting RCIPS Units carried out a search at a residence in the district, resulting in the arrest of a 23 year old male and a 20 year old female both of West Bay, for possession of ganja with the intent to supply and other related offences.

During the operation officers recovered approximately 5 pounds of ganja, and other drug related paraphernalia.

The arrested persons were transported to the Cayman Islands Detention Centre where they were interviewed and subsequently bailed.

Investigations are ongoing.
