On Tuesday, 4 July, police arrested and charged the second man involved in the armed robbery that occurred on Friday, 16 June, at a bank on Crewe Road.
The man, a 47-year-old from George Town, had first been arrested on the 25 June, and released on bail with strict conditions pending further investigation.
He has now been charged with one count of Robbery, three counts of Attempted Robbery and one count of Possession of an Imitation Firearm with Intent to Commit an Offense.
He appeared in court today, Wednesday 5 July, and was remanded pending a further appearance on Friday, 7 July.
