UPDATE: RCIPS Statement on Charges Against Senior Politician, 7 March

The RCIPS can confirm that a senior politician has been arrested this morning and formally charged with two counts each of Indecent Assault and Common Assault (in the alternative), in relation to an incident occurring at a formal event at the Ritz Carlton Hotel on 13 September, 2022.

He is appearing in court this morning, 7 March 2023.
